Ο Μιχάλης Ρακιντζής είναι μία από τις πιο επιδραστικές μορφές της ελληνικής μουσικής. Συνθέτης, τραγουδιστής και παραγωγός που καθόρισε τον ήχο μιας ολόκληρης γενιάς — ο πρώτος καλλιτέχνης στην Ελλάδα που χρησιμοποίησε υπολογιστές για σύνθεση μουσικής, συνδυάζοντας ηλεκτρονική παραγωγή με pop rock και την ελληνική μουσική παράδοση.
Γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε Μηχανολογία στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία πριν η μουσική γίνει η αληθινή του κλήση. Το 1982 συνίδρυσε τους Scraptown — ένα ροκ γκρουπ που κυκλοφόρησε τρία άλμπουμ και πέτυχε ευρωπαϊκή επιτυχία με το 'Viva Sahara.'

Η σόλο καριέρα του ξεκίνησε το 1986, χαράζοντας αμέσως μοναδική πορεία. Από new wave και pop rock μέχρι EDM και ηλεκτρονικό πειραματισμό, ο Ρακιντζής σπάει συνεχώς τα όρια — αληθινός πρωτοπόρος της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής παραγωγής στην Ελλάδα. Συνεργασίες με τον Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), τη Bonnie Tyler και τις Wee Papa Girl Rappers εδραίωσαν τη διεθνή του απήχηση.
Το 2002 εκπροσώπησε την Ελλάδα στη Eurovision με το 'S.A.G.A.P.O.' — μια ηλεκτρισμένη ερμηνεία που παραμένει εμβληματική. Πέρα από τη δική του καριέρα, έχει γράψει επιτυχίες για τη Σοφία Αρβανίτη, τον Βασίλη Καρρά, τον Πασχάλη, την Ελένη Δήμου, και πολλούς ακόμα.
Με πάνω από 20 δίσκους, αμέτρητες επιτυχίες και τέσσερις δεκαετίες καριέρας, ο Μιχάλης Ρακιντζής αποτελεί πυλώνα της ελληνικής μουσικής — σε συνεχή εξέλιξη, πάντα μπροστά από την εποχή του.

Give Me a Break

Launches solo career with "Moro Mou Faltso" featuring Eleni Dimou. Instant classic.
Isovia
